In this course, you will learn about the elements of the hydrogen gas control system.

Learning Objectives

This course will provide basic knowledge on the following:

  • Explain the purpose of the hydrogen gas control system.
  • List the advantages of using hydrogen.
  • Identify the location of the major components and describe their functions.
  • Describe how gases are supplied, how mix of gases in the CO2 analyzer is measured, and how gases are removed and filled.
  • Describe adjustable alarm device settings and control valve positions.
  • Understand the importance of proper oil and hydrogen pressure and acceptable level of H2 purity.
  • Understand how to calculate hydrogen leakage.
  • Understand various operational inspections, lubrications, and tests that must be performed on system.
