Course Description |
This course will introduce the participant to the major components and basic operation of a Combined Cycle Power Plant. The primary focus of this course will be on the Heat Recovery Steam Generator ( HRSG ) and the importance of proper water level control in the HRSG steam drums. The participant will learn about basic principles of operation of the HRSG as well as the principles and components that may impact the proper control of the HRSG drum water level. This course does not cover all details or variations in equipment nor does it provide for every possible contingency the participant may encounter when inspecting, cleaning, or removing parts of steam/water drums. Please refer to General Electric documentation or Technical Information Letters for further information. In the even there is a conflict between this course’s content and official General Electric documentation, the official General Electric documentation shall take precedence. Contact your GE Representative for further information or in response to specific problems not covered here. |
