Course Description |
This course will help the participant identify the role of a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) in a combined cycle power plant. The participant will learn about the various components of the HRSG construction layout and the function that each component performs in the overall design. The course will describe the HRSG subsystems and help the participant identify the tasks performed during its operation, as well as the regular and preventive maintenance procedures that are essential to keep the HRSG components operational. This course does not cover all details or variations in equipment nor does it provide for every possible HRSG contingency the participant may encounter. Please refer to the GE documentation or Technical Information Letters for further information. In the event of a conflict between this course’s content and official GE documentation, the documentation shall take precedence. Contact your GE representative for further information or in response to specific problems not covered here. Please check the Resources and Shared Files section of this course for online technical documentation. This course will refer to the HRSG components, systems, and subsystems. The equipment and components at your plant may be different from the examples cited in this course.
