Course Description

The course introduces the participant to the design and construction of generator fields and stators. It investigates the functions of the generator components and describes the synchronous and isochronous operation of generators. Lastly, the course discusses the importance of generator inspections and how inspection results might be utilized to improve generator maintenance and reliability.

Participants should have:

  • Instruction and course material are given in English; therefore, a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required.
