Course Description

The Improved Performance by optimized CCPP Operation Seminar is designed for I&C maintenance personnel, operation personnel and general staff.

Fundamentals of Improved Performance by optimized CCPP Operation are addressed from multiple perspectives:

  • Introduction to performance characteristics of the different main components of a CCPP (GT, ST, Generator, HRSG)
  • Discussion on different operation regimes for CCPPs
  • CCPP efficiency and Key Performance Indicators
  • The specific performance characteristics of:
    • Single Shafts CCPP
    • Two or more GTs supply one ST
    • CCPPs with bypass stack
    • Operation with supplementary firing
    • CCPPs with extraction
