Course Description

This course offers a basic understanding of the operations of GE heavy duty gas turbine (6,7,9, B, E, F class). This course does not include any discussions of generators. The course is designed for those persons with power plant operations background.

The course is held at a GE Learning Center. All locations have turbine equipment available to view which enhances the learning experience beyond classroom lectures and discussions. The course is lecture based and with periodic viewing of the available equipment in the facility. No hands-on training will be provided due to the time limitation of the class.

This course is intended for personnel with limited or basic knowledge of GE gas turbine operation.
