Basic Gas turbine theory and operation and the knowledge required to ensure consistent, trouble-free performance from the engine and its associated equipment.
Who should attend?
Owners, operators and customer personnel concerned with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the GE LM2500+ aeroderivative gas turbine.
Prerequisites
Instruction is given in English; therefore, a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required.
Course Requirements and Attire
- Picture ID is required. No visitors will be allowed to enter the training facility without a picture ID - NO EXCEPTIONS. Please carry a picture ID at all times while on any GE premises.
- The appropriate dress for this course is casual.
- Please note that CTEC is a place of business - no tank tops or shirts with inappropriate verbage or signs.
- All students taking maintenance training courses are asked to bring safety glasses (Z87 standard) and steel-toed shoes. Safety glasses will be worn when performing shop maintenance tasks. CTEC does have 1 pair of loaner shoes in the most popular sizes and disposable saftey glasses.
- Failure to have proper Personal Protective Equipment may result in student not being able to participate in hand-on portions of course.
