Instruction is designed so technical personnel responsible for the hands- on maintenance of the LM6000 will benefit most from this training. Scope of training focuses on selected Level 2 procedures identified in the applicable Operation and Maintenance manual.

Basic Gas turbine theory and operation and the knowledge required to ensure consistent, trouble-free performance from the engine and its associated equipment.

This course will provide academic and practical hands-on instruction on selected maintenance procedures required to return a gas turbine to a serviceable condition by removal, replacement or adjustment of external parts.

This course provides training on the essential elements of the Mk V turbine control system. The course will include instruction on the hardware and software components of the Mk V control system and its interface system (HMI). Alarm troubleshooting and LVDT calibration will be central topics of the program. Additionally, practical exercises on Mk V equipment will reinforce the daily lecture material.

This course offers instruction on the hardware and software of the controller equipment. The course material and exercises provide training on the software tools that are used to troubleshoot alarms, edit the sequencing, configure the Inputs and outputs (both hardwired and networked), and calibrate Servo-Actuated Valve LVDT's and other devices. Additional class work includes information on the Cimplicity operator interface (HMI). Lectures and hands-on exercises develop a thorough understanding of ToolboxST and other software tools.
