What will I learn from this course?

Basic Gas turbine theory and operation and the knowledge required to ensure consistent, trouble-free performance from the engine and its associated equipment.

Who should attend?

Owners, operators and customer personnel concerned with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the GE LMS100 aeroderivative gas turbine.

Prerequisites

Instruction is given in English; therefore, a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required.

This course provides training on the essential elements of the Mk VI turbine control system. The course will include instruction on the hardware and software components of the Mk VI control system and its interface system (HMI). Alarm troubleshooting and LVDT calibration will be central topics of the program. Additionally, practical exercises on Mk VI equipment will reinforce the daily lecture material.
