Gas/Steam Mark V (with HMI) Advanced
This course provides advanced knowledge of the Mark V control with HMI to students already familiar with fundamentals. Software modification is the main focus of the course. Generating signals, customizing software, adding timers and counters . Also included is advanced software and hardware troubleshooting of the Mark V™ controller.
Who should attend?
Qualified engineers and technicians who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the Mark V™ and HMI.
Prerequisites
Previously attended Mark V Course. Reasonable computer skills (an ability to navigate the interface operating system). As instruction is given in English, a reasonable ability to read and understand English.
Effective March 1, 2011, the GE Energy Learning Center will become a tobacco-free campus and smoking will be prohibited in all areas of the property, including outdoor space owned by GE. This means that all employees, as well as customers, contractors and visitors will be prohibited from using tobacco products anywhere on our campuses, including in motor vehicles. If an individual wishes to use tobacco products he/she needs to leave the campus in order to smoke or to use smokeless tobacco. Leaving campus is only acceptable during regularly scheduled lunch breaks. Leaving the property during shorter class breaks will not provide adequate time to return to class. Persons who do not comply will be asked to leave the campus.
