Gas/Steam Mark V (<I>) For Technicians

The course offers instruction on the hardware and software of the controller equipment. The course material and exercises provide training on the various software tools that are usedto troubleshoot turbine-based alarms, sequence editing and LVDT calibration. Additional class work will include information on control processor troubleshooting and the operator-interface (<I>). This course differs from the Mark V(<HMI>) in the operator.
Who should attend?
Engineers, technicians, and other qualified personnel concerned with operations and maintenance of the Mark V Controller. The attendees must have the <I> interface at their sites.
Prerequisites
A basic understanding of their turbine equipment and its operation. Reasonable computer skills (an understanding of files, directories and use of a computer mouse). As instruction is given in English, a reasonable ability to read and understand English is required.
